Tomorrow begins a new special series looking at the legends behind Saint George, how he became associated with a red cross, and the nations that have adopted his banner into their own flags. The first will be published tomorrow, followed by a second article on Tuesday. I have enjoyed researching this series and believe you will enjoy learning about why this particular saint has been installed as the patron saint of so many nations.
