Kingdom in the Sky: The Highest Country in the World is...

Where?!
If asked where the highest country in the world was, I imagine most would guess somewhere in the Himalayas.  Maybe the Alps....or the Andes. But none of those answers would even be in the correct continent.  To travel to the highest country, one would venture to Lesotho, Africa - the Kingdom in the Sky.

How?!

Lesotho's title of "Highest Country" is more about its lowest point than its highest point. Although many other countries boast of higher peaks, those nations also contain many lands that are lower than Lesotho.  At almost 4,600 feet (1400 meters), Lesotho's lowest point is higher than any other nation's lowest point.  Aiding this title is Lesotho's relatively small size.  Lesotho is an 11,700 square-mile enclave (a landlocked nation completely inside another country) inside South Africa's highlands.
